SilverSneakers is a program available to seniors on Medicare that gives you access to a free gym membership to their participating gyms. In the 805 area code, we have two insurance carriers that offer SilverSneakers as part of their Medicare supplement benefits and one carrier that offers it in their Medicare Advantage plans at no extra cost. We have lots of great gyms here on the central coast that participate in this program, with one of the most popular being Pismo Beach Athletic Club in Pismo Beach, California. This gym offers everything you can imagine including Pickleball courts and a swimming pool.
Other great gyms in the 805 area code are Fitness 19, Snap Fitness, SLO YMCA, Crunch Fitness, InShape, 24 Hour Fitness, Curves, and many more depending on where you live.
